Subject: [lojban] lojban.org localization
This is something I pointed out before, and the issue hasn't been dealt with since, it seems.
The following pages (among others) have non-English translations:
http://www.lojban.org/tiki/Lojban http://www.lojban.org/tiki/Lojban+Introductory+BrochureWhen I set the site language to e.g. German on /Lojban,
it takes me to the German page, /Lojban (de), no problem. But when from there I click "Introduction" in the menu column, it takes me to the English page, /Lojban+Introductory+Brochure, rather than the expected German page, which does exist. This prohibits me from staying in a non-English environment throughout the browsing wherever translated pages exist, forcing me to manually change the language either with the pull-down box on the bottom left or on the right above.
I thought I should remind the admin of this issue, because one Japanese contacted me again about his interest in making contributions to the site, and he is (as well as I am) distracted with its navigation. If no immediate improvement is likely, please let me know, and I'll get back to him to report that.
The only way to deal with this is to contact Robin Powell on the IRC - but he is on holiday for a week (maybe two).
By the way, I sent you several emails about our need to have a Mandarin Chinese speaking contact on the LLG Contacts page. Any chance of your being the contact?
Someone for Japanese would be good too!
