I wouldn't name him "vitke"; I'd give him a normal Lojban name, corresponding
to his native name, if there is a corresponding name.
That brings up the question: what are Lojban given names? There are lists of
names in various languages on Wiktionary. Some have equivalents in other
languages, some don't. E.g. "Vahagn" (Armenian) doesn't correspond to a name
in any other language, nor does "Csaba" (Hungarian), but "Gevorg" corresponds
to "György".
