Okay, but the densities need to be different between the metro area
and the two suburbs.

Let's put the suburbs at 200-400/km².

Hollywood (my city of residence) is 64.6 km² and approx 1900/km².
Let's maybe put the metro centre at 800-1k/km². Does that sound
reasonable?

What does that bring our population to, approximately?
