I'd prefer to stick with the
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICAO_spelling_alphabet one, but it's
not important to me so I'm mostly going to stay out of the
discussion.

Whatever is picked, please put it on a wiki page with "spelling
alphabet", "radio alphabet", "telephone alphabet" and "phonetic
alphabet" all appearing on it, so people can find it easily.  :)
