[lojban] Lojban-only game (inspired from MOO/MUD conversations and talks in IRC of Lojban RPGs).
I have another idea, and wonder if it sits well with the rest of
Lojbanistan.
We should play a (slightly modified) game of The Extraordinary
Adventures of Baron Munchausen.
For those of you that are not familiar with the folktales, I recommend
seeing the film of a similar name which was produced by Terry Gilliam
in 1988. I would appreciate the game being very much in the spirit of
the age in which the stories took place.
I shall forgoe explaining the rules, assuming they are already known
or have been looked up after reading this sentence.
I suggest that each turn be divided into three phases, each pause
allowing other players to interject a grand total of twice during the
story, should they so desire. Duels shall be carried out by guessing a
number between pa and fei, the closer of the two winning, unless one
player guesses exactly, in which case that player is killed. The time
limit allowed between parts of a story is no more than two dozen
hours, and the minimum wait must be four hours unless all players
acknowledge to the story-teller in real time before this time passes
that they have no objection. Order of play initially will start with
an arbitrary first player and continue Roman-alphabetically based on
the first letter of the player's jbocme. The winner starts the next
round.
The only thing left up in the air is the venue. Should we play by a
different list, on jbotcan, on this very list, or another venue?
