If *any* electronic system is safe from cosmic rays, an EFT can be. Do
we really want to say that the people of LG haven't figured out how to
make electronics work in their environment? If we say that they have
electronics, it only makes sense to say that they have EFTs as well.

How do you think fiat currencies work? As long as LG has a unified
government, there's a really easy way for it to establish value for
its currency: tax.
