That was all the point I was trying to make: stop saying that one
way or the other is the wrong way when you have no data, please.

I'm very happy that you're teaching people, and I'm glad it's
working out, I just want you to stop acting like you have data when
you don't.

And in my opinion, there is no evidence that the way we learned is
the wrong way, particularily.  Referring to it as such is a lot
worse than the faulty logic you describe.
