[lojban] Re: other-centric UI
I must express my disagreement with the idea that this works.
{.i .ai mi dansu} does NOT mean "I intend to dance."
It -does- mean "I dance." and you feel intent about it.
Just like {.i .ui mi dansu} does not mean "I happily dance."
It means "I dance." and that I am happy about it.
UI are not substitutions for real brivla.
If you hope for something, then you pacna, not a'o.
If you intend to do something, then you zu'edji, not ai.
If you're happy about something, then you gleki, not ui.
