So which version of "ni" do you favor? There are two versions, in one
of them "lo ni ..." is like "lo klani", in the other version it's like
"lo se klani".
I see some confusion about the function of "ce'u" in that discussion.
To check whether you are getting "ce'u" right, a good test is to put
your "abstraction" in the x3 of "frica":
ti ta frica lo ka/ni .... ce'u ..."
"ce'u" marks the slot reserved for "ti" and "ta".
So for example:
ti ta frica lo ka ce'u ciska makau
"This one differs from that one in what they write."
ti ta frica lo ka makau ciska ce'u
"This one differs from that one in who wrote them."
ti ta frica lo ka ce'u ciska xokau da
"This one differs from that one in how many things they write."
ti ta frica lo ka xokau da ciska ce'u
"This one differs from that one in how many people wrote them."
ti ta frica lo ka ce'u ciska sela'u makau
"This one differs from that one in how much of a writer they are."
ti ta frica lo ka ciska ce'u sela'u makau
"This one differs from that one in how much of a written thing they are."
