I strongly prefer an organised list to scroll through rather than
scanning and double clicking twice to reach a folder that only has one
file before having to return up the same two folders (lots of
redundancy).

That said, I don't actually use a file browser often enough for it to
matter -- I use the command line + vim. So whatever you like. :)
