It wouldn't be the first time. But it's still pretty obvious that the
x2 of cusku is words, not meanings, just like the object of "to say"
and unlike the object of "to express".
I believe the previous conversation ended with me deciding that, while "express" was not precisely correct, it did not have the vocal connotation of "say", and a more appropriate word than "express" which did not have the vocal connotation was searched for but not found, so i decided to go with express.

The latter would make more sense.

I don't disagree with that. I only disagree with your saying that
"expresses" is better than "says".
(Did I just misuse "saying", BTW?)
