In that other thread an example was used like "do djica lo nu lo sakta ji lo kruji cu nenri lo ckafi pe do"...
My first thought was something like ".aupei sakta ji kruji" or even us leave off the .aupei.  Could you live with yourself as a lojbanic waiter/waitress saying this

Why not? Grammar allows us to say just a sentence fragment in the right context. "do djica tu'a lo ckafi" is the context. So, we can skip it, unless we are also serving lo sakta .a lo kurji separately.

However under the current grammar it should be either "lo sakta ji lo kurji" or "sakta je'i kurji", afair.
