I think it should be "x1 (date) is the x3th anniversary of x2 by calendar x4". 
The location doesn't matter (except in rare cases such as an eclipse that 
happens when part of the earth is in February 29); the calendar does (the 
400th anniversary of anything by the Julian calendar is three days different 
from the 400th anniversary by the Gregorian).
