Actually, "{gli'u}" fails the {slinku'i} test (cf. "{togli'u}" et
alii) and so is not a valid word, which should mean that it has to
"absorb" the syllable before it, making "{paigli'u}" a valid single
{fu'ivla}. I once wrote a (complete?) description of a/the word
splitting algorithm that covers this:
