The one who I saw mention "la ka trina" spoke of it in such a
way that it seemed that it was a cross-lingual pun. Someone's
name translates to "the quality of attractiveness", but happens
to be homophonous with a common English name, "Katrina"; it is
cute. Remember the CCL, chap. 8, section 6
( http://dag.github.com/cll/8/6/#e10 ), explicitly permits
some complex phrases in cmene; the example gives "la nanmu poi
terpa le ke'a xirma" meaning "Man Afraid Of His Horse".
