When you ask the question that way, you make it sound as if there is a
predetermined set of kinds, with a predetermined set of exemplars for
every kind, fixed once and for all for every context. But that's just
what we are saying is not the case.

One way to further slice the lion stage is to consider the
lion-stage-as-seen-from-the-right, the
lion-stage-as-seen-from-the-left, the
lion-stage-as-seen-from-the-front, and so on.

The answer to that question could be yes or no, it depends. Initially,
and without any more information, it could be yes. But as you add more
detail it may well turn into a no at some point.
