There are different kinds of colors: colors of emitted light, colors of
reflecting surfaces, and idealized color spaces. Among the human population,
there are at least three alleles of the red-seeing gene (normal, anomalous,
and blind), at least two of the green-seeing gene (ditto), and at least two
of the blue. It is thus possible for a woman to have five primary colors.
(Both red and green are on X, only one of which is expressed per cell.) And
I, a mutant of the red-seeing gene, sometimes see things I want to
call "gred" or "grellow". Then there's bicnukni. That's #FF00FF, where the
first byte is green and the third is ultraviolet. So #FF0000 is OK for
{ma'orxu'e}, as long as you remember that you're talking about a color space
and not a pure spectral line or paint.
