I think that for babies in general it's more about the simple presence
of the inflexible desire than the more analytical willingness to drink
by a larger amount.

[ladru] be'upei
(Probably most babies justly don't care about the temporal extension
of anything, in which case you don't have to add things like
"bu'ocu'i".)
Indeed, "to want more of x" can mean simply "to lack x", for which
there is "claxu":
xu claxu lo ladru
(Want more milk?)
