They are.

Let's call "SEMANTIC IMPORT" all the semantics one word 'x' carries with itself

We put in the semantic import things such as "properties", written
/+property/, and other things such as "morphologic value", which we
write [context --> new semantic import]

Thus,

Romeo = { /+male/, /+young/, /+in love with Juliet/, ... }

Juliet = { /+female/, /+young/, /+in love with Romeo/, ... }

bird = { /+animal/, /+a priori living entity/, /+can fly (generally)/, ... }

blackbird = { /+animal/, /+bird/, /+specific cry/, ... }


Well, in fact :

bird = { /+animal/, /+a priori living entity/, /+can fly (generally)/,
[ black * --> blackbird ],... }

so that

(black & bird) = { /+animal/, /+a priori living entity/, /+can fly
(generally)/, [ black * --> blackbird ], /+BLACK/, ... }

while

(black * bird) = blackbird = { /+animal/, /+bird/, /+specific cry/,
... } as seen above
