Re: [lojban] Baby words: clap, high five, wave (goodbye/hello), handshake



These are the words I use:

clap = jalsimgau lo xance

For "wave", you can say "sligau lo xance" or "xance sligau rinsa".

High five and handshake are mutual actions, so again simxu is needed.

ko'a simxu lo ka ce'u jalgau lo xance be lo nei lo xance be ce'u
--> xanjalgausi'u = high five

ko'a simxu lo ka ce'u jgari lo xance be ce'u lo xance lo xance
--> xanjaisi'u = handshake (doesn't require actual shaking, but some handshakes are just holding each others' hand for a short time).
