I would say that if there's a number, then there's a place that you can get at that involves that number. You may have to circumlocute, but if you really don't want to do so, {co'e ma kau} exists.
Also, I prefer {ni} not to be "weird".
"Weird" was the wrong word, the point was that it's the vague comparable term, the natural zmadu3, etc. It's not a number, at least not typically (in my view it never is, since there's no clear rule for when it can and can't be and whether it is or isn't has a marked impact on semantics.)
