That's not just the same issue, it's really the same thing, but phrased more precisely: "that which was "me"". But when we say "I did something", it's {mi pu ...}. This is the same {mi}, so {lo pu me mi ku} is just {mi}. I started writing some about the philosophical/language design issues here but ran out of time; I'll add to this later.
