{gi'a} is a logical connector. In the context of Selpa'i's sentence, a non-logical 'or' could also be expected. Phrasing things differently to encircle the intended meaning. How to do that in Lojban?
Also, my use of {mintu} is nonsense, I fear (mintu ma?).
