{pofygau} is actually correct for one of the senses of "break" in cryptography, e.g. in "MD5 is broken; use SHA2, since no one has yet found a way to break it."

I second {termifyfa'i}.

How would you say "break a cipher"? It's not "popygau" or "pofygau". Maybe
"tolnurgau"?

How about {[ter]mifyfa'i} ?

I'm not sure there is a useful meaning for {mifyfa'i} without the {ter-}, so I could see that rafsi getting dropped from the lujvo to make it shorter.
