Unless the lujvo is defined to not include such situations. In other words, the definition could include a {jmive} that is implicit/dropped from the actual lujvo:

selzdacti: x1 se zdani gi'e citka vau x2 noi jmive

Adding -miv- would make it rather long, but then -sel- could be removed as in the subject line, giving {mivzdacti}, with the above definition.

I would probably use either {mivzdacti} or {selzdacti}, just {zdacti} might not be so good.

With a word for parasite, there should also be one for host:

selctizda: x1 zdani gi'e se citka vau x2 (again the same thing about -miv- applies)

I have to say, the two words together form quite the tongue twister!
