I can't imagine worthwhile system even within US, Britain and Canada.

For me it looks like unavoidable polysemy of such terms as "general", "admiral", "captain" etc.

I just looked up "general" in vlasisku and found several words of the form N-
moija'a. I think there was a proposal to take Chinese ranks and European ranks
and mash them together to create fu'ivla. What became of those words?
