2) How many of the gismu do you have memorized right now?

   

  Well, it depends on your definition.  If you mean knowing the x1 and (where applicable) x2 places, then ALL of the non-experimental gismu, even the piddling  ones that I will never have occasion to use, like gocti, stero, gotro and delno.  For the further places, slightly less.

 

3) How many rafsi?

 

  About three thousand.  Oh, did you mean only the 3 letter ones?  Then probably about 300.  The majority of those because of the lujvo vocabulary, and my interpreting of English/other language words, names, etc, as lojban, or the anagramming of English phrases and names as lojban utterances.

 

4) And how many cmavo?

 

  There was a time that I could have said 100%, but now it's probably down to 75% or so.  My main problems are probably evidentials, obscure BY and PA subsetss, and underused-by-me BAI and tenses (like I can never remember if "zo'i" is "in" our "out").

 

5) When did you start learning vocabulary?

2004

 

6) How often (roughly) do (or did) you learn?

   I go back to memrise when I come across the email reminder, probably about once a week, or more often (once or twice a day) in irregular spurts of motivation

7) On a regular basis?

  (see above)

 

8) Which learning tool or learning method do you use?

  I use memrise currently, I used to use the defunct rememberize  also from my own printed sheets from Robin's "big list" page. (modified to my own "braste" document)

Extra question for those who already memorized all gismu, rafsi and cmavo:
9) When did you “make it”? (a rough estimate)

Notes: I only talk about the _official_ gismu, cmavo and rafsi.
Knowledge of other valsi or rafsi is not relevant to this survey.
With “memorized” I mean something like: I throw you out of bed and ask you
“Quick! What’s the definition of ‘jalge’?” then you automatically,
while still not really awake, can say the correct answer.
