I guess it refers to "low tone". Isn't it too metaphoric? The frequency, I would say, is at most cmalu, or clani pavdilcu. What about {clani tonga}? Wave length, period and the tubes and strings used to produce them are all long.
Hm! I think I agree. Though one thing that one might say is {dizlo} about a low frequency is its place on the musical scale.
{cmalu} is in the right direction, but I think just {cmalu} as a seltau might be understood as a low-volume or short-duration sound. {clani tonga} could be a tone that is heard for a long time.
In any case, I agree that {dizlo tonga} should be replaced by something better.
