I propose {skelaltadji}.
skelaltadji = x1 is the scientific method used in science x2.

More importantly, the (short) lojban definition:
.i x1 me lo tadji be lo nu lanli x2 noi saske

The unusual part about my proposed lojban definition is the use of {me lo}. I use it here because there is a particular kind of method that we think of when we think of the scientific method. In other words, simply defining it as {x1 tadji lo nu ...} would be far too vague. Of course, a full Lojban definition would require explaning just what it is that the scientific method *is*; my proposed definition obvious doesn't cut it, in that regard.

"saske" obviously doesn't cut it. I'm posting this here hoping others can come up with a solution. Aside from the fact I'd like to have this word to use, it just seems odd to me that the "logical language" would leave science out in the cold like this. Can anyone help?
