[lojban] CLL on CUhE and {nau}
coi jbopre,
The selma'o CUhE contains two cmavo, namely the eponymous {cu'e} and also {nau}. (Four if you count the experimentals {pu'au} and {ba'au}.)
The CLL mentions CUhE in two places -- section 10.24, which talks about {cu'e} but not {nau}, and in the catalog of selma'o. The omission of {nau} in 10.24 is too bad, but if we demanded the CLL cover all cmavo it would be too heavy to ship by Amazon drone. However, the catalog states that CUhE is for asking tense/modal questions. That's the function of {cu'e}, but not {nau} (nor {pu'au}/{ba'au}, for that matter). Shouldn't the catalog say that CUhE is for "combined space/time tenses", or something to that effect?
I see from Nick Nicholas' note in jbovlaste that the current meaning of {nau} came about in 1991, before which I suppose it was in LAU, making CUhE a singleton selma'o, so perhaps that explains the selma'o catalog entry.
I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before. I didn't see it in the CLL Errata page, and I searched the list for mention of CUhE and all I found was the invention of {re'u} (which was pretty neat to see).
