| Hi everyone, I came up with a question related to tanru and lujvo invention, but not sure how this is solved in lojban. CLL says tanru can have multiple possible meanings, but only one of them can be assigned to lujvo. But what if two meanings are equally important? Assuming that they cannot be expressed (properly) with other tanru. For example, cadzu mroxadni (walking corpse) can mean zombie, but also (more artistically) someone who's not living a meaningful life. For me, both of the meanings are interesting, it seems a pity to lose either of it. So I wonder is there some way to record both concepts down? More generally, how to assign different "shortcuts" (like lujvo) to different meanings of a single tanru? Thanks Rui Liu |
