This also seems to break (or make much less convenient) many usages of {jo'au}, mu'a one of the given examples {cylylypapi'epa jo'au}. You would have to use {lo'u} or something.

Yes, "the first three cups" is still {ci boi pamoi kabri} and nothing can be done.
