Okay, but it does bother me. E.g. in russian we pronounce them as [ijul'] and [ijun'] and we have to clearly utter them to make them distinguishable.

It doesn't bother Germans, who use Juni and Juli, or pre-20C anglophones,
who pronounced July "Julie".
