Re: [bpfk] Month Names (WAS: official cmavo form)

that {pa'amsi} series could be further improved e.g. {gaimsi} or {gairmese} to free us from rafsi that are so hard to memorize and allowing to use the non-rafsi form instead.
Note that {gai'amsi} doesnt differ much in the number of syllables from {gai zei masti} if " ai' " isn't pronounced as [ajh] but as [aih]. Although it shouldn't be {masti} there since the latter means something different.

A similar approach can be used for days of week although Monday=1 can make lusophones and Hebrew speakers feel uncomfortable (Monday = segunda-feira).

My revised suggestion:

janvari febvari martime prilme magjome junxame julzeme .avgusto
septebe .oktobe novmebe dekmere

*{prilme} is a slinku'i.

Personally I always use the number-based names, although I do find october through december annoying since they need two digits (e.g. pavnonmasti/pavnonma'i). Then again, there are experimental rafsi for the hex-digits, with which you could say {duvma'i} for october, and so on.
