Re: [bpfk] Month Names (WAS: official cmavo form)

2015-01-18 10:54 GMT+03:00 Pierre Abbat <phma@bezitopo.org>:

{gai'amsi} doesn't have a consonant cluster in the first five letters after
removing y'y and ybu.

You mean you can't accept it as a valid word?
Okay this is for another thread. Then
parmese rermese cirmese vormese murmese xarmese zermese, birmese sormese daurmese feirmese gairmese

{r} can be replaced with {n} or {l}, {-mese} can also be replaced with something different.
Features:
1. People's Republic of China uses Gregorian calendar naming months as 1,2,3, ...
2. This system is bound to ISO (or whatever those standards are called), not for other historical calendars like Old Chinese one, bound to Zodiac or lunisolar etc. {-mese} explicitly states that. For Julian calendar a different pseudosuffix will be needed.
3. No need to memorize PA-rafsi. You just add {-r-mese} and here you are.
