"I want some xodium"

I'm not sure where you see the lack of a solution, and which bits of "I
want some xodium" you are focusing on.
In brief, I would say "I want xodium-Kind (= Mr Xodium)" or
else say "I want that it be true that there is xodium such that
co'e".
Kind is population as something that neutralizes the individual/substance
distinction. Intrinsically countable things will yield a Kind that is
an individual and intrinsically uncountable things will yield a Kind
that is a substance. (Those defaults would need to be overridable
somehow, of course.)
