A little long for such an important concept, no?
"Internet" is a name (that's why it's capitalized usually), so {la internet} if fine, and also in line with what people say in other languages, but there's usually also a seldom-used translation (in Hebrew, it's מרשתת (pronounced mircetet)), so we might as well have one in lojban.
How about {kauseltcana} ? global network - there's no really need to carry that "sam" for computer everywhere, because it's pretty obvious what network is global.
