"Boom" also refers to some loud noises. So if a supersonic plane is flying
above the boat with the film crew, they can be even more confused.
As to "pinga'a", I'm not proposing that as a specific term for "boom", but if
I had only a second to warn someone about the blofanpinga'a, it's enough to
say.
