Is it possible to use that place of the sentence to state that the reporter is under fire? Although he might be, I thought the x4 place would have to be merely stating that gunfire is a condition affecting viewing. I guess you could use an abstraction to fit a whole bridi in the x4 place-- something for the selbri having to do with getting shot at. A simpler example our class has used while translating {le pijyctu} is:
{.i ko'a viska le xruti bloti lo bumru}
"he views the returning ship under viewing conditions: fog."
Fog is a straightforward aspect of the view.
