[lojban-beginners] Re: copyrights
We've discussed copyright in #lojban recently. As I recall, if you translate something then it's counted as a new work. Hence, you own the translation. Though, since most jbopre are linux users...

It would be useful to have a word for "right" before deciding on one
for "copyright". I think {pikta} might work for "right", then {fukpikta}
or {fukygaupikta} for "copyright".

If you are actually translating something with a copyright
notice, you should leave the notice in the original language.
I have no idea whether that's required by copyright law or not.
