Because Moscow was named by the Russians, the best Lojbanization would
be based on the Russian pronunciation of the name - thus probably "la
mozgvas" or "la moskfas" would be desireable, but lose visual
recognition. "la moskuas" seems like a reasonable compromise. The name
of the country clearly should be "la rosi,as" (which is pronounced as
you have written rosIas).

According to the syllabication rules which Jorge and I have been discussing, which we don't agree on but which we agree on about this word, {mozgvas} and {moskfas} are invalid, because a syllable can neither end with "zg" or "sk" nor begin with "gv" or "kf".

There is no official restriction that I know of, and changes in the morphology are not part of the byfy charter at this point.
