A bridi corresponds to a sentence. "Puerto Rican Independence Party" is not a sentence & does not correspond to a bridi. The translation will properly be a sumti, probably a cmene.

I argue that place names should almost never have their root-meanings translated into Lojban, a natlang practice that makes sense IMHO. So:

Partido Independentista Puertorriqueño
la kamzi'e trusragri pe la puertorikos.

I think it gets the point across. I don't love {kamzi'e} for "independentista". {trusragri} is in noralujv; I'm not sure it's optimal.
