It should be pointed out that
1) 'many years' is translated { lo nanca be li so'i }. { so'i nanca } means 'many [not necessarily continuous] year-long periods.
2) { noi la'a cu'i do morji fi ny } is grammatical but odd. The usual formulation would be { fi ke'a }, {ke'a} being the placeholder for the antecedent in a relative clause.

Not saying there may not be poetic reasons for those choices, but I thought it should be clear.
