('le ny.' is not a valid sumti.)

It might be a little slippery because another 'nu' follows in the same
sentence i.e. 'le nu jinsa'. Changing it to 'ny.jy.' wouldn't make a
difference either, because both 'nu jmive' and 'nu jinsa' are
'ny.jy.'. Why not 'ra'?

The x3 of 'darxi' sounds more like an instrument; you hit the rocks
with it ('my life') and it's still in your hands. But the original
poem doesn't sound like that; you throw it onto the rocks and it
leaves your hands. So 'renro' seems more apt. With 'renro' you can
also leave out 'fi'.
