The word lists only give the short {rafsi} (those with three letters, not
counting apostrophes) for words; every {gismu} also has two long {rafsi}:
itself (only valid at the end of a {lujvo}) and itself minus the final vowel
(only valid at the beginning or middle of a {lujvo} when followed by a 'y').
Hence, "{clanyvalsi}" does mean "long word."
