[lojban-beginners] Using lojban in SF

I'm part of an online writing group, and I'm thinking about having a
certain character give verbal commands to a certain group of computers
in something like Lojban. It's not a major plot-point, so I'm hoping
that once I get the basic structure, I can take just a few seconds to
check an English/Lojban dictionary for any new words... but it /would/
be nice if I was using /real/ Lojban. (I'm also planning on using more
English-like punctuation and capitalization, for reader
comprehension.)

For example, to tell a computer to turn on the lights and open
something, would "Doi, Skami. I ko gusni. I ko kalri.", with the
computer responding "Viho.", be reasonably close to Lojban?

In a similar vein, this character wears a 'swarm cloak' made up of
many tiny robots. For 'hey, swarmcloak, add a kilt', how close is
"Doi, Girkosta. I ko fi skaci."; and for 'hey, swarmcloak, light up
the direction I'm looking at', "Doi, Girkosta. I ko gusni farcta mi."?

Thank you for your time,
