[lojban-beginners] Re: translation of "blog" si blag
It's pronounced 'blag' in certain dialects, but I have not heard a single English person pronounce it that way. When you consider that it's a portmanteau of 'web log' that's been truncated, then the emphasis should be upon the 'log', so that leaves us even further away from 'blag'. Intyrblog, perhaps, but that leads us full circle 'round to the original portmanteau. So, again, I submit simply 'blog'.
