Never said it was. It's an etymologically English word is all. If it was rooted in another language, then the etymology of that language would be vastly more appropriate; I wouldn't dream of claiming English dominance in lojban! It's an atrocious language! =D

These arguements about American English versus Commonwealth English 
seem a little strange to me. Have we forgotten that lojban is not the preserve 
of the English-speaking world? How is "blog" pronounced in China, India, 
Brazil, Nigeria? {prekarni} sounds fine to me!
