[lojban-beginners] Right Place?

I am new and I am very enthusiastic about learning Lojban. However, I feel a little lost. I've been trying to learn the basics on my own, but I have about a million questions. Could someone point me in the right direction to an expert that wants to teach or a beginner that wants to learn Lojban together? Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I'm having difficulty finding audio clips of someone singing the alphabet, counting, telling the time, asking 'How do you say this in Lojban', etc...I thought that was the way one generally learned a language.
Anyone want to share with me how they started speaking Lojban?

PS: I would love to 'Lojbanise' my name. Sarah means princess or high ranking female.
