First, the thing she intended to say, "five cents or a dime", would make the 
right bridi not tautologically true if the conjunction were "jo"; the humor is 
in using a conjunction that makes sense when the amounts are different with two 
amounts that are equal. Second, the right bridi is on the right side of "iju", 
so its truth value is irrelevant. I add "kau" because the statement as a whole 
is not a question.
